Before Designing the Scrubber Tower, It Is Necessary to Confirm
|
Required Process Data |
Why It Matters |
|
Gas Flow Rate |
Determines tower diameter and packing volume |
|
Inlet Gas Temperature |
Affects material selection and cooling requirements |
|
Pollutant Concentration |
Determines the number of scrubbing stages |
|
Gas Composition |
Determines scrubbing liquid and tower material |
|
Dust Content |
Determines nozzle type and anti-clogging design |
|
Removal Efficiency Requirement |
Determines overall system configuration |
Only after these parameters are confirmed can the equipment dimensions and operating costs be accurately calculated.
Advantages of Scrubber Towers
Stable Removal Efficiency
For acidic gases (such as HCl, HF, and SO₂), proper design enables a single-stage removal efficiency exceeding 90%, while multi-stage scrubbing systems can achieve 95%–99%.
For alkaline gases like ammonia, treatment performance can be adjusted by modifying the absorption liquid formula.
Optimized Pressure Drop Control
GYRO optimizes internal flow velocities based on airflow volume and packing height, typically maintaining the operating pressure drop between 800 and 1800 Pa.

Uniform Spray Coverage
GYRO configures the number of nozzles and spray density according to the tower diameter, ensuring thorough wetting of the packing surface, minimizing localized channeling, and enhancing gas-liquid contact efficiency.
Convenient Maintenance
For operating conditions prone to crystallization or high dust loads, features such as detachable spray pipes, large-bore nozzles, access manholes, and online flushing ports are utilized to minimize downtime for maintenance.

- Steel Frame Packing
- Container Loading Plan
- Packing List
- Material Certificate
- Inspection Report
Technical Support and After-Sales Service
If issues arise during the operation of a scrubber tower-such as reduced removal efficiency, increased pressure drop, packing blockage, uneven spraying, or abnormal circulation fluid consumption-GYRO engineers will analyze the root cause based on on-site operational data. We determine whether the issue stems from process changes, absorption fluid problems, or equipment structural factors and provide corresponding adjustment recommendations; we do not simply advise replacing the equipment.
For projects requiring increased production capacity or upgrades to meet stricter environmental standards, we can modify existing equipment by adding scrubbing stages, optimizing packing layers, or upgrading spray systems, thereby minimizing the need for redundant investment.
If you are planning a scrubber tower project for exhaust gas treatment, please feel free to share the exhaust composition, airflow rate, temperature, and emission requirements with GYRO. Based on your specific operating conditions, we will provide comprehensive EPC solutions-covering equipment design, manufacturing, and installation-to help you meet emission standards while controlling long-term operating and maintenance costs.
