The HNHT-1 deoxygenation catalyst is a precious metal-on-alumina catalyst. It is designed for the highly efficient removal of oxygen from various gases-such as nitrogen, hydrogen, argon, methane, and carbon monoxide-at ambient temperature.

The HNHT-2 deoxygenation catalyst is capable of directly removing trace amounts of oxygen from inert gases. The process requires neither the metered addition of hydrogen to the feed gas nor frequent regeneration of the catalyst; it offers a deoxygenation capacity 100 times greater than that of conventional catalysts, operates without specific pressure requirements, and is cost-effective. Following deoxygenation, the gas can be further purified via adsorption to yield high-purity gas. It is suitable for the direct deoxygenation of inert gases such as nitrogen, argon, helium, carbon monoxide, and carbon dioxide, and is particularly well-suited for the downstream purification of nitrogen produced via pressure swing adsorption (PSA).

Standard-grade nitrogen and other inert gases typically contain around 0.5% oxygen, rendering them unsuitable for industries requiring high-purity gas, while purchasing high-purity nitrogen directly entails high costs. By passing standard-grade nitrogen or other ordinary inert gases through purification equipment loaded with the HNHT-3 deoxygenation catalyst, high-purity gas can be produced conveniently.
