We are capable of undertaking ultra-large non-standard desulfurization reactors with a single lifting weight up to 100 tons.
The design and fabrication management of our products strictly comply with China's pressure vessel standard GB/T 150 and industry codes issued by the National Energy Administration such as NB/T 47041 and NB/T 47042. Our products can also fully conform to ASME Sec.VIII Div.1/Div.2 (American Society of Mechanical Engineers standards) and CE-PED (EU Pressure Equipment Directive), satisfying the procurement access requirements of international engineering projects.
Advantages of Desulfurization Reactors
Adopting our in-house CNC automatic welding system, we carry out full cladding with high-precision special materials on the reactor bottom and spray sections that are severely eroded by acidic droplets. This process achieves 100% molecular-level metallurgical bonding between the anti-corrosion layer and base steel plate, fundamentally eliminating risks of intergranular corrosion and pitting corrosion caused by high-concentration media during industrial desulfurization. The overall service life is extended by over 35%.
The internal gas distributors, mist eliminator supports and spray pipelines inside the tower are all optimized into non-welded modular snap-fit structures. The uniformity of gas flow distribution inside the reactor is increased by 18%, while the energy consumption of system fans is reduced by 15%.
After assembly welding, instead of the unstable local infrared heating widely used in the industry, the whole equipment is sent into a large modern enclosed electric heat treatment furnace for integral high-temperature residual stress relief. More than 98% of internal stress in the welding heat-affected zone can be thoroughly eliminated, keeping the hardness of all welds strictly below 22 HRC. Physically, this prevents sudden Sulfide Stress Cracking (SSCC).

Every desulfurization reactor manufactured by GYRO undergoes 21 core production procedures and passes 6 rigorous inspection stages.
Strict Incoming Material Reinspection & Material Flaw Detection
All raw materials come with original mill test certificates and are subjected to secondary re-verification of mechanical properties and chemical composition in our physical and chemical laboratory. Before cutting, all steel plates receive 100% ultrasonic testing (UT) performed by certified inspectors to rule out material defects such as slag inclusions and laminations. Most small manufacturers skip full plate re-inspection to save time and labor costs.
Elite Welding Team & Exceptionally High First-Pass Inspection Rate
Our factory employs 14 senior welders certified for special equipment welding, each qualified for more than four welding categories covering 36 working specifications. A seasoned team of four inspectors holding 13 intermediate-level NDT certifications (covering RT, UT, MT, PT) monitors production in real time with mature welding procedure specifications. The first-pass radiographic testing qualification rate for main automatic submerged arc welding seams reaches 99.2%, far exceeding the industrial average of 95%. This avoids secondary thermal damage to metal grains caused by repeated repair welding.
Synchronous Verification via Physical-Chemical & Welding Laboratories
We maintain dedicated in-house welding and physical-chemical laboratories. Prior to commencing fabrication of any non-standard reactor, product welding test coupons must be fabricated for simulated welding, followed by tensile, bend and low-temperature impact tests. Mass welding can only start once all test data fully meets acceptance standards.
