Advantages of GLR Glass-Lined Reactors

Consistent Enamel Thickness & Reliable Corrosion Resistance

The vitreous enamel lining is precisely controlled within 0.8–2.0 mm. It effectively isolates the steel substrate from most inorganic acids, organic acids and organic solvents to prevent medium corrosion and product contamination. Stable long-term operation is guaranteed under standard working conditions.

100% 20kV High-Voltage Spark Inspection for Guaranteed Factory Quality

Every GLR reactor undergoes full 20kV spark testing after glass lining firing. Inspectors scan the entire surface to detect pinholes, cracks and leakage points. Only units passing the strict test proceed to final assembly, drastically lowering leakage risks after commissioning.

Process-Calculated Agitation Systems for Superior Mixing Efficiency

Variable frequency speed control ranging from 20–500 rpm is configurable, with motor power covering 0.75 kW to 110 kW. Our engineers select optimal agitator styles based on Reynolds number, mixing cycle and heat transfer requirements, eliminating sedimentation, stratification and uneven blending issues.

Large-Scale Fabrication Available for Continuous Production

GYRO manufactures glass-lined reactors from 100 L up to 30,000 L, with a maximum vessel diameter of DN3200 mm. For large industrial projects, we deliver matched multi-reactor packages and complete process system integration, cutting management costs caused by coordinating multiple suppliers.

Manufacturing Process of GLR Glass-Lined Reactors

Steel Shell Fabrication

The reactor body is fabricated from pressure vessel-grade steel plates. The roundness tolerance of the cylinder is kept within the limits specified by design standards. After welding, all welds are subject to RT or UT non-destructive testing in accordance with project requirements.

High-Temperature Enamel Firing

GLR glass-lined equipment adopts a multi-layer enamel spraying and repeated sintering process. The firing temperature is maintained at approximately 850°C (adjusted according to specific enamel formulations), forming a stable bond between the glass lining and steel substrate to enhance adhesion and corrosion resistance.

Dynamic Balancing Calibration

After assembly of the agitator shaft assembly, concentricity inspection and dynamic balancing calibration are performed. For high-speed stirring equipment, this process effectively reduces operational vibration, lessens wear on mechanical seals and extends bearing service life.

Packaging & Shipment

Protective covers are installed on all flange sealing surfaces to avoid deformation and impact damage during transit. All glass-lined areas are wrapped with cushioning materials no less than 10 mm thick to mitigate shock risks in transportation. Motors, reducers and instruments are packed separately in fumigation-free wooden cases with desiccants placed inside for moistureproof protection. Marine shipment units are fully wrapped with moisture barrier film and anti-rust coating, suitable for sea transit cycles of 30 to 60 days. For vessels over 12 meters in length or oversized in width, modular segmented fabrication with on-site assembly is adopted to facilitate international shipping.

Why Choose GYRO for Your GLR Glass-Lined Reactor Projects

In-house Engineer Equipment Sizing to Eliminate Post-Delivery Rework

Once we receive your project data, GYRO's engineers conduct full technical evaluation covering medium corrosivity, reaction temperature, design pressure, fluid viscosity and cycle duration. We optimize reactor volume, agitator configuration, heat transfer design and nozzle layout to deliver professional sizing recommendations, rather than simply quoting based on your basic specifications. For fully documented projects, a preliminary technical proposal is ready within 24 hours.

3D Digital Design Prevents On-site Installation Troubles

For complete process packages, we supply general assembly drawings, nozzle layout schematics and full 3D plant arrangement models. We pre-verify equipment height, maintenance clearance, nozzle orientation and foundation dimensions in advance, minimizing field adjustments and boosting construction efficiency.

Full Manufacturing Traceability

Throughout GLR reactor production, we can furnish material certificates, welding records, NDT reports, high-voltage spark test logs and pressure test documentation upon your request. Video inspection or third-party witnessing at critical production milestones is available, enabling you to track project progress in real time.

Full Lifecycle Technical Support Beyond Equipment Supply

After shipment, we offer installation guidance, agitation system commissioning, instrument wiring consultation and full trial-run technical assistance. If abnormal operating parameters occur on site, our engineers analyze mixing efficiency, temperature stability and process matching issues and deliver targeted optimization solutions to bring the unit up to design performance quickly.

Single-Source Supplier for Complete Reaction Process Units

Beyond GLR glass-lined reactors, we provide matching supporting equipment including condensers, heat exchangers, storage tanks, filters, vacuum systems, metering units and process piping. We deliver full process unit design and EPC general contracting services. Compared with sourcing separate vendors, our one-stop solution cuts cross-supplier communication costs, shortens overall project schedules and simplifies long-term maintenance management.

Long-Term Spare Parts Supply to Minimize Downtime

We maintain permanent stock of consumable components such as mechanical seals, agitators, reducers, motors and instruments. All manufacturing records are archived permanently to support future maintenance, capacity expansion and component replacement. For export projects, complete English technical documents, spare parts lists and remote technical support are provided simultaneously to reduce production downtime and secure continuous operation.

Please contact GYRO to share your process conditions or project requirements; we will recommend the most suitable glass-lined reactor solution for you and provide a quick quote along with engineering support.
